Soundtrack Sunday (3)

This wonderful song really reminds me of a particular scene towards the end of Simone Elkeles' Perfect Chemistry. It's a very emotional scene and this song fits in with it perfectly. :)

The song is called Never say Never and it's by The Fray. You might have heard of a song called How to save a life by the same band? It's about four years older then this song, but still really beautiful ^^

Although I did not care for Stork too much, I'm actually exited to read this book. I'm desperately hoping that this book will top the first one since the concept of the story is so great.

Synoposis:

So, yeah. I forgot to make this post yesterday. So i'm doing it today xD

The song is called "Love like a sunset, part II" and the book is called Anna and the french kiss. ANNA is an awesome, awesome book and this is a wonderful song and I really think they go well together.

Please listen to the song and try to imagine Anna and Etiénne on top of Notre-Dame... I feel like rereading the book now *scoots off to look up quotes*

Pottermore ♥

So, did you get a chance to register today? Did you solve the riddle and found the magical quill? Well I DID!

I am superduper exited, I know that this doesn't necisarily mean that I get to be one of the million people to try Pottermore before it's release, but, since I was up pretty early this morning and solved the riddle pretty quickly, it does mean that I have a great chance!

I was pretty upset with the fact that I couldn't choose my own username. Pottermore gave me 5 different options and I could choose wich one of thsoe five that I wanted. They said that it was some kind of security crap.

My Pottermore username is; DawnQueen89.
I like the fact that my username has the word 'queen' in it, but i do not like the... omg i just realised something. What if people think that I was born in -89?! I was so NOT born in -89.

Now, I'm sure that a million people did this before me, i'm also sure that this "meme" comes in tons of different variations. But this is how i'm going to do it;
Every Sunday, I'll upload a song from youtube here on the blog. It won't just be any song, but a song that reminds me of a certain book in one way or another.
Simple enough, eh? ^^

This weeks song is "Emily not, not gone" by Cemetary Sighs.

For anyone who read Nevermore by Kelly Creagh (which is the book i'm currently reading btw), it is quite obvious why I chose this song, but for those of you who haven't; This is one of Varens favorite songs. He plays it in the ice-cream shop where he works while he and Isobel is cleaning the floor xD

I don't know for sure, but I think, that this song was recorded for the book Nevermore.  So, no, Cemetery Sighs is technically not a real band and they do not have any other songs :(

I don't know what it is about this cover that makes me...not like it.

I mean, I kinda like it, I love the little horsie, but..that's where it stops. The girl looks werid. And I don't think that lime green was a great colour for the title. It doesn't really match :S
